On the evening of July 6, Li Xuhang, Consul General of China in Dubai, attended the release of the film 1921 in Dubai through a video link and delivered a speech. This is the international premiere of 1921, a historical film for commemorating the Centenary of the Communist Party of China.
Li Xuhang said that the film 1921 vividly depicts the eventful years before and after the First National Congress of the CPC, shows the international and domestic background of the great historical event of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and illustrates the glorious conclusion that "the Party was chosen by history” with historical facts, which make it a fantastic gift for the Centenary of the Communist Party of China. The release of the film in Dubai will help people from all walks of life in the UAE better understand China and the CPC. It will also enhance cultural exchanges and people-to-people bonds between China and the UAE by leading more Chinese films to be released in Dubai.
After watching the movie, both Chinese and foreign audiences said that the film depicts the important Chinese historical event of the founding of the CPC in an internationally understandable way.
